In 1987, we granted our very first Wish in New Hampshire… This January we granted our 1,000th heartfelt Wish to a N.H. Child. This would not be possible without the steadfast support of the New Hampshire community, THANK YOU for knowing you have the Power to Grant a Wish!

A little more history….We have grown from granting 4 wishes in our inaugural year to nearly 100 in 2011! Wishes empower not only the Wish Children, but their families and the many donors and volunteers throughout the state who play a part spreading the magic of a Wish. Wishes take many forms, but the common thread to all is that they are the heartfelt desire of a child facing a life threatening illness. Whether digging for dinosaur bones, a magnificent tree house, or writing and producing a movie complete with a red carpet premiere, Wishes can be big or small and they each make a tremendous difference. The most common feedback we receive from donors and volunteers alike is how remarkable it feels to see the sparkle in a child’s eyes as they receive their wish.
